Graduation Day!

Well, notice that the blogging catch up didn't happen! And now we are packing for going to our daughter's college graduation this Saturday!!! It doesn't seem possible!!! We are so excited for her, and so proud of her!!! Hopefully I will get a lot of graduation pictures up when things slow down (do they ever???) And here are a couple of pictures I have taken lately.

This is Mother's Day visiting Emily at "her house".



And this is a picture of Emily with her $10.00 dress. I like it this length (the length it came in). But she likes it the length in the picture below the first one.



And check this picture out - the picture behind her, on the left, is a picture of her and all her housemates, good friends who all together are moving to a new house on the first of June. (if she can find a job that is!) And then notice the word in the window to her right! It was meant to be! I just thought this was kind of cool!

And this is Emily and Lauren - who got a job at the hospital in town - who we are going to see getting pinned tomorrow night! (along with her other roomie and friend) (no more nurses caps I guess!) Lauren was the one that God gave Emily as her roommate when she was a freshman, and has been a wonderful young lady to get to know! She is from California, so we have gotten to be her "foster parents" a time or two, like when she is a star in a dance recitals.

Okay, so gotta pack, no more procrastinating!

St. Joe Lighthouse

Just thought I would throw in a couple of pictures of our lighthouse. We went for a drive around town after Church yesterday, and since the sun was shining (surprise, surprise) I brought my camera along. Next time I will have to bring a tripod along too tho. But it is always enjoyable to watch the waves come rolling in. Hope you enjoy the pics. This is on Lake Michigan by the way.

This was taken at around Christmas Time, but there are a few folks missing. I wonder if I could figure out how to add them in???

Ha ha - can you tell I have been playing around? Still haven't figured out how to fix it tho!



I have another question - when I post something new, I get lots of visitors according to my counter, but very, very few comments. Do you think these visitors are regular nice people, or are they people looking to do bad things to my blog? I wish I could tell more from my counter thingey.....!

Oh well, - more Christmas pictures will be coming in the days ahead!

Ladies Night Out & Happy Birthday!

We had a wonderful evening last night - with 35 women! We went out for supper, and then went to go and see "Menopause, The Musical" in South Bend. We also celebrated three birthdays (mine was last week) and we had a marvelous time! Flori orchestrated the whole thing, and started out being the five from our book club going, but it just kind of blossomed, it was so much fun! Saw a lot of good friends I haven't seen for a long time, and met some new friends too! And the musical was great - I will never think of those old 60's songs the same again. If you get a chance to see it, I would highly recommend it! So anyway, I am way behind in my blogging, and hope to catch up with Christmas and all that other stuff since I last wrote (Thanksgiving I think), but will at least get these pictures up yet now. Have a good one!
