Wanted to show you, very quickly, a couple of things I bought at last week's Bluff Antique Show. Once a month they have a wonderful open air antique show on the bluff, overlooking Lake Michigan. It is a walk in the park, and always has lovely breezes, and look what neat things I found for a couple bucks! I have this plate holder that holds large plates, and so far, all I keep finding are pretty little ones. But these were a good start tho! Isn't the one with the bluebirds beautiful? And the Dutch one is neat too -it says it is an autumn scene, I wonder if there are the other seasons out there too somewhere? Some day, if I ever get caught up, I will show you lots of other finds I have collected over the months, thrifting/antiquing is so much fun!!!

Hi Diane, you found some great stuff! Love the little birdies on that plate. YOu asked about my shop...it's in IL. We are usually only in MI in the summer. Too bad, because I looooove fall up there.
Hi Diane, I found your blog from another. I live in Michigan too. I'm a Christian, been married going on 28 years, but both of our children are still home. 21 (in college locally) and a 14 year old. I love that second plate you showed with the adorable little blue birds. I have a thing for birds ~ especially blue ones.
Blessings,
Sher

I have such a weakness for dishes, my cupboards would agree. I Love the ones you found. I just found your blog and am enjoying it very much. Twyla
Hi Diane, Your Autumn plate is fabulous. Yes, the pink and green is still for sale. I marked it sold for you. My email is on the sidebar and I look forward to hearing from you. :) Lynn
My favorite one is the bluebird one--it's super cute!
OMG I love the bluebird plate I use to make mosaics and broken china jewelry would have had fun with that!
My friend and I were recently discussing about technology, and how integrated it has become to our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further innovates, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
